CURD DRAINING DRUM
The Ekselans Rotary Draining Drum is used in kashar and curd cheese production to separate curd from whey after the curd is cut in the process tank. The rotating perforated stainless steel drum retains the curd inside while allowing the whey to drain into the lower collection chamber.
The whey collected in the bottom chamber is automatically transferred to storage tanks via an integrated centrifugal pump.
