COOLING HEAT EXCHANGER
Ekselans Plate Cooling Heat Exchangers are used to pre-cool raw milk received from farms before it enters storage tanks or to rapidly reduce product temperature to fermentation levels after pasteurization. They operate with high heat transfer efficiency.
Specially patterned stainless steel plates allow the milk to flow as a thin film, creating maximum contact surface with the cooling medium (chilled water or glycol). This enables the milk to reach the desired temperature within seconds, effectively inhibiting bacterial growth. Thanks to the gasketed design, the plates can be easily disassembled for cleaning or capacity expansion.
